Primary Responsibilities: 1.Manage industry–academia cooperative research projects fully funded by enterprises. 2.Handle incentive programs and awards for outstanding faculty research in industry–academia collaboration. 3.Promote and coordinate international industry–academia alliance cooperation initiatives. 4.Facilitate faculty participation in industry-based research and training. 5.Execute other assigned tasks. Supporting Responsibilities: 1.Compile major data and reports for the Office of R&D, including CommonWealth Magazine USR University Citizen Survey, Global Views Monthly surveys, annual reports, new faculty handbooks, CSR reports, delegation responsibility charts, and supervision surveys for the Joint College Entrance Examination for Technical and Vocational Education. 2.Consolidate and submit the “University Gender Equality Education Implementation Review Form” on behalf of the Office of Student Affairs. 3.Collect and report proposals and revisions related to Taichung City Government’s municipal development meetings, Private University Association proposals, quality manual revisions, major academic calendars, and feedback on the revision of Technical and Vocational Education policy guidelines (on behalf of the Secretariat). 4.Compile and submit accountability reports on academic research data and support the reporting of Times Higher Education Impact Rankings data (for the Institutional Research Office).2203
Primary Responsibilities: 1.Manage the generation of intellectual property within the university, including patent and technology transfer/licensing applications, as well as intellectual property management and maintenance. 2.Handle applications for various project proposals and funding programs. 3.Draft and manage Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) for collaborations. 4.Announce and promote information on industry–academia collaboration seminars, workshops, and exchange activities. Supporting Responsibilities: 1.Develop, update, and maintain the Office of R&D and Industry–Academia Division webpages. 2.Assist with webpage inspection tasks in coordination with the Public Relations Division. 3.Manage reimbursement of photocopier expenses and vendor evaluation processes. 4.Handle recruitment and management of 3% part-time student assistants for the Office of R&D. 5.Oversee general administrative affairs and space management. 6.Coordinate the procurement and distribution of Mid-Autumn Festival gift mooncakes for public relations purposes. 7.Compile and submit the “Comprehensive Energy Review Summary Table” and “Energy Use Self-Management Report” (for A312 space) to the Office of General Affairs. 8.Compile and submit the “Contracted Work Statistics Report,” “Direct Environmental Consideration Assessment Form,” “Hazard Identification and Assessment Form,” “Workplace Unlawful Infringement Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Form,” and “Workplace Unlawful Infringement Checklist” (for A312 space) to the Office of General Affairs.2201
