Hungkuang University encourages teachers to communicate with domestic and foreign companies and sign industry-academia cooperation plans, and apply for patents and technology transfers for research and development results. From 2020 to 2022, teachers signed a total of 578 industry-academia cooperation projects (NT$133.71 million) (Table 1). Teachers submitted 20 patent applications (including Taiwan and China) and passed them 17 patents. A total of 57 technologies were transferred to the industry, and the total authorized amount was NT$27.1 million (Table 2).
